From the explosive opening of “Bridge Burning” and the tightly wound riffs of “Rope” to the ferocious “White Limo” and the anthemic closing track “Walk,” the album delivers one of the strongest and most consistent performances in the band’s catalogue. Its combination of immediacy, melody and sheer volume earned Wasting Light the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
