"The Hawk Flies High" is a classic album by the legendary jazz saxophonist Coleman Hawkins.

 

Recorded on March 12 and 15, 1957, this album showcases Hawkins' incredible talent and unique style.

 

It was recently chosen as the Vinyl Me, Please Classics Record of the Month for November 2020, making it a must-have for any jazz enthusiast.

 

The vinyl edition comes with a sticker indicating that the lacquers were cut from the original analog tapes by Ryan Smith at Sterling Sound, and pressed on 180g Black Audiophile Vinyl at QRP in Salina, KS.

 

Additionally, the album includes an exclusive listening notes booklet by Natalie Weiner, packaged in a glossy tip-on sleeve.
