Foo Fighters – Sonic Highways

Released in 2014, Sonic Highways is one of the most ambitious projects in the Foo Fighters catalogue.

Conceived as a journey through American musical history, its eight tracks were recorded in eight different cities, with each song shaped by the musicians, studios and musical traditions of its location.

The album takes the band from the driving Chicago rock of “Something From Nothing” and the Southern character of “Congregation” to the expansive closing track “I Am a River.” Produced with Butch Vig, Sonic Highways retains the powerful guitars and anthemic choruses associated with Foo Fighters while introducing new textures and influences gathered during the band’s journey across the United States.

The recording process was documented in the accompanying HBO series directed by Dave Grohl, making the album both a standalone rock record and part of a broader exploration of American music.

This European vinyl edition features the collectable Nashville cover—one of the city-specific sleeve designs created for the album.

Both the record and sleeve are graded Near Mint, showing very little evidence of previous handling.
