Eurythmics – We Too Are One
We Too Are One captures Eurythmics at the end of an extraordinary decade in which Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart had developed from synth-pop pioneers into one of Britain’s most distinctive and successful pop acts.
Released on RCA, the album combines the duo’s polished late-1980s production with elements of pop, rock and soul. Annie Lennox’s unmistakable voice remains at the centre, while Dave Stewart’s production gives the record a broader and more organic sound than many of Eurythmics’ earlier electronic recordings.
The album includes some of the duo’s best-known later-period songs, including “Revival,” “Don’t Ask Me Why,” “The King and Queen of America” and “Angel.” Together they make We Too Are One a strong example of Eurythmics moving beyond their early synth-pop identity without losing the songwriting and atmosphere that made them instantly recognisable.
This copy is particularly attractive for collectors, with both the vinyl and sleeve graded Near Mint — showing very little evidence of previous handling and offering an excellent example of this release.
