Amplified Heart is one of the defining albums in Everything But The Girl’s catalogue and captures Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt at a fascinating turning point in their career.
Originally released in 1994, the album combines the duo’s sophisticated songwriting with an intimate mixture of acoustic pop, folk and subtle electronic elements. The album includes “Missing,” the song that would unexpectedly transform Everything But The Girl into an international phenomenon.
