Released exclusively for Record Store Day 2024, this limited 12-inch EP brings together recordings from Somerset House and Union Chapel.
 
The dramatic arrangements place Lusk’s powerful, gospel-rooted vocals at the centre, supported by the cinematic soul sound created by fellow Gabriels members Ari Balouzian and Ryan Hope.
 
Side A features a striking interpretation of Tina Turner’s Private Dancer, followed by the sweeping Glory and Back To Life, featuring Qing. The Union Chapel recordings on Side B offer beautifully restrained versions of If You Only Knew and the traditional spiritual Amazing Grace.
 
Pressed on black vinyl and limited to 3,000 copies worldwide, Live From London ’23 is an evocative document of a band whose music connects classic soul, gospel and orchestral pop with a distinctly contemporary atmosphere.
