Gasolin' – Gør Det Noget captures Denmark's defining rock band near the end of its original run. Released in 1977, it was Gasolin's seventh and final Danish-language studio album, recorded and mixed at Sweet Silence Studio in Copenhagen. Kim Larsen, Franz Beckerlee, Wili Jønsson and Søren Berlev combine hard rock, pop-rock hooks and unmistakably Danish songwriting across a direct, energetic programme.
The album includes enduring tracks such as “Det Bedste Til Mig Og Mine Venner”, “Jumbo Nummer Nul”, “Strengelegen”, “Kattemor” and the title track. Its mixture of forceful guitar work, melodic choruses and reflective lyrics makes Gør Det Noget an essential document of Gasolin's late period.
This is the Danish CBS 82378 red-label reissue, pressed by CBS in Haarlem, the Netherlands. It is presented in a gatefold sleeve and includes the printed inner sleeve with credits and lyrics.
The vinyl is graded Near Mint, showing virtually no signs of handling. The gatefold sleeve is also graded Near Mint and is exceptionally well preserved.
