Released in 1974, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway is Genesis' most ambitious concept album and the final studio recording with Peter Gabriel as lead vocalist. Across four sides, the band follows Rael through a surreal New York journey, combining theatrical storytelling with highlights including In the Cage, Back in N.Y.C., The Carpet Crawlers and The Colony of Slippermen.
This European Charisma double-LP edition carries set number 6641 226, with individual record numbers 9299 257 and 9299 258. The gatefold format preserves the monochrome Hipgnosis artwork and the complete original album sequence.
The vinyl is graded Very Good Plus and plays well with only light signs of previous use. The sleeve is graded Very Good, showing visible but acceptable wear consistent with its age.
