Gasolin' – Live Sådan is the landmark double live album that captured Denmark's most celebrated rock band at full concert strength. Recorded during Gasolin's winter tour in January 1976 with the Sweet Silence Mobile Studio, it documents the chemistry between Kim Larsen, Franz Beckerlee, Wili Jønsson and Søren Berlev in front of an enthusiastic home audience.
Produced by Franz Beckerlee and Roy Thomas Baker, engineered by Freddy Hansson and mixed at Sarm Studios in London, the album combines muscular rock performances with the humour, melody and direct audience contact that made Gasolin' a defining Danish live act. Highlights include “Masser Af Succes”, “Kvinde Min”, “Jeg Er Splittergal”, “Rabalderstræde” and an extended “Alla-Tin-Gala”. The studio recording “Hva' Gør Vi Nu, Lille Du” closes the programme and became one of the band's most enduring songs.
This is the original Scandinavian CBS 88207 double-LP edition from 1976, with orange/yellow sunburst labels. Pressed by CBS in Haarlem, made in Holland and presented in a gatefold sleeve, it is the definitive vinyl presentation of Gasolin's first official live album.
Both records are graded Near Mint, with very little evidence of previous handling. The gatefold sleeve is graded Very Good Plus, showing only light signs of careful use.
