Gloria Gaynor – Never Can Say Goodbye
Gloria Gaynor’s 1975 debut album is one of the foundational records of the disco era. Its opening side joins “Honey Bee,” “Never Can Say Goodbye” and “Reach Out, I’ll Be There” into a continuous dance-floor sequence, helping establish the uninterrupted album-side format that became central to disco culture.
Beyond its historical importance, the album remains an energetic soul and disco performance built around Gaynor’s powerful, assured vocal delivery. The title track became an international hit, while the album’s mixture of orchestral arrangements, driving rhythm and melodic soul captures the moment disco was moving from clubs into the mainstream.
This MGM Records vinyl LP carries catalogue number 2315 321. The record is graded Very Good Plus and offers strong playback with only light evidence of previous use. The sleeve is also graded Very Good Plus, with minor signs of careful handling consistent with its age.
